Though he didn't figure in the decision, deGrom did fan a dozen over 6 1/3 innings before leaving with the game deadlocked at 2-2. Austin Slater tagged the ace for a two-run homer in the sixth that drew the Giants even.
Robert Gsellman plucked the win in relief and Edwin Diaz pocketed the save.
