Bust out the brooms


Mets wrapped up a three-game sweep of the defending World Series champion Nationals in DC.


Wilson Ramos blasted a pair of two-run homers and JD Davis drove in four runs on three hits as New York scored a 12-7 victory on April 4th.



Rick Porcello grinded through 6 2/3 innings to improve to 2-0, Robinson Cano belted his third homer of the spring, a two-run shot in the second, and Jeff McNeil showed signs of snapping out of an early funk with three hits, three runs and two RBI as the Mets completed the sweep in a 7-3 victory. New York outscored the Nats, 32-16, in the three-game set.
