Bomb Squad trashes Stros for Sweep

The Mets squeezed all the juice out of Minute Maid Park on Wednesday, exploding for four home runs en route to a 9-6 victory that extended the Amazins' win streak to six.

Red-hot Michael Conforto, who belted his sixth, Wilson Ramos, JD Davis and Amed Rosario all parked long balls for New York, which counted six extra-base hits among the 10 safeties collected.

Rosario, Davis, Conforto and Jeff McNeil each provided two RBI in support of Marcus Stroman (1-0), who scattered five hits, walked one and struck out four over seven innings.

Michael Wacha tossed an inning of relief and Dellan Betances threw the ninth to earn his first save for the Mets.
